The Golden Gophers do not spend all of their practices at the golf course. In fact, they spend quite a bit of time in a hockey arena. The weight room the golf team uses is located in Mariucci Arena. The team also uses Mariucci's concourse for warm-ups and cardio. The physical improvement the Gophers gain from the strength and conditioning program provides a foundation for what they do on the golf course.
